Key information
The Libra School is dedicated to the care and education of 50 children (aged 5–16) with special educational needs specifically social, emotional and behavioural.
We are looking for someone skilled in animal care with a strong knowledge of farming for our expanding highly successful farm school near Minehead – the knowledge and ability to teach practical animal care (domestic / farm) is essential. This role will suit someone with a personal passion for animal care and husbandry (domestic and farm), knowledge of farming and the National Curriculum or the ability to learn and develop this NC knowledge, who can demonstrate the skills needed to engage and teach children.
We require an outgoing and confident person with strong practical animal care and farming skills and a desire to teach SEN children, to take our children’s work with our animals to the next level in our specialised SEN environment.
Salary:
- £26,000 to £32,100 gross per annum for 46 weeks per year
- £29,391to £36,287 gross per annum for 52 weeks per year
(dependent upon qualifications and experience).
Hours: Full Time. Mon to Fri 8:30am to 4:30pm
Salary above is for 40 hours per week
