Holway park school is looking to recruit a part time attendance worker.

8.30am- 12.00pm Monday- Friday – term time only- 38 weeks of the year plus 6 weeks paid holiday.

Grade 12 point 12 £13.69 per hour – Annual Salary £10566 paid over 12 months

What will I be doing?

• To provide advice and guidance to families and parents about attendance.
• To investigate the circumstance behind absence and help/support parents to resolve difficulties and identify areas that may be of concern.
• To monitor attendance and complete associated tracking and recording.

Skills required

• Calm but persistent and organised person to work with pupils and families to ensure maximum attendance possible.
• Must be willing to work as part of a team and also independently.
• The roll will include conversations with pupils and families, home visits, meetings in school, telephone conversations, analysis of data and the ability to prioritise cases.
• A good working knowledge of government legislation and continual research would be an advantage.

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

A good level of education is required with a minimum of Grade 5/C in both GCSE English and Mathematics.
