The Governors of Creech St Michael C of E Primary School are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and inspirational Deputy Head who will work closely with the Headteacher and Assistant Head to take the school forward and develop it further whilst maintaining its reputation locally for providing excellent education and life experiences for all the children at the school. There will be a teaching commitment of three days.
We are looking for a Deputy Head who:
- Is an exemplary, creative and inclusive classroom practitioner who can lead by example.
- Has a good understanding of curriculum development and a passion to lead further curriculum development.
- Has high expectations of children’s learning and behaviour.
- Can inspire and motivate children and staff to strive for excellence.
- Can play a key role in the self-evaluation and school improvement cycle.
- Has excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Is a positive ‘team player’ as well as an effective strategic leader.
- Has enthusiasm, integrity and a good sense of humour.
- Can promote our church school Christian ethos and values.
