Somerset Bridge Primary School promotes the highest standards for all of our children raising their aspirations, breaking down barriers and embracing new initiatives to fully prepare the children for their future. An exciting opportunity has arisen to be a key member of our Learning Support Team. We are looking to appoint a Sports Coach to work across all year groups in our School. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to play a significant role in developing children’s love of sport at Somerset Bridge Primary School.

What will I be doing?
The successful candidate will:
- Enable children to develop knowledge, skills and vocabulary in a broad range of sporting activities
- Create a positive and inclusive environment to encourage participation and enthusiasm for sport
- Develop an exciting, engaging and high-quality PE curriculum that inspires all pupils to succeed and excel in competitive sports and other physically-demanding activities
- Provide children with the opportunity to compete against other schools in a variety of tournaments throughout the year
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of a variety of holiday clubs. This holiday club provision is an exciting new opportunity for which the successful candidate would be paid in addition to the stated salary.
DBS check
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect the same commitment from all staff and volunteers. The successful candidate will need to satisfy the requirements of an enhanced DBS check.
