Isambard Kingdom Brunel Primary School ( IKB ) is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate part time Year 3 Teacher to join our friendly and motivated team. The role is for two full days and we will be happy to be flexible on days for the right candidate.

Overview of the role

We are seeking an excellent educator to join our teaching staff in Wellington. You’ll be an experienced KS2 teacher who can work closely with our Deputy Headteacher to deliver the Year 3 curriculum. The role will also include planning, preparing and teaching lessons. An understanding of classroom management, curriculum knowledge and delivery of feedback is key.

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

Key requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent qualification
• Passion and commitment for inspiring through teaching and learning
• Solid knowledge of the foundation phase in line with the relevant curriculum
• The ability to build on and develop existing best practice knowledge
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
