Salary: Grade 15 Point 3 – 4 depending on experience (pro rata, based on Full Time Equivalent salary range £24,796 – £25,185)

What will I be doing?

At King Ina Church of England Academy we are looking for a Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to work 32.1 hours per week (8:30am – 3:15pm with a 20 minute unpaid break for lunch) Monday to Friday, 1:1 with a pupil with an Education Health Care Plan.

You will:

• Be a reflective practitioner
• Be solution focused and positive in meeting the social and emotional needs of our young people and open to innovative ways of working
• Have the ability, drive and resilience to nurture the emotional health and well-being of young people
• Contribute to resourcing of the curriculum
• Preferably have successful experience in a school setting

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

The post requires experience of supporting learning across the curriculum and supporting pupils with their social, emotional and mental health needs.
