Full Time 1:1 Teaching Assistant

Berkley Church of England First School is a small nurturing school won the outskirts of Frome. We provide an idyllic environment for children’s physical, intellectual, spiritual, moral and social development.

We are looking to recruit a SEN teaching assistant who will be responsible for providing 1:1 support to a pupil at our school to ensure they can access the school curriculum and engage in all aspects of school life. We are looking for an enthusiastic and positive individual who has an understanding of how to support children with complex needs. This role is a rewarding one with the successful candidate having the opportunity to positively develop and encourage the pupil in both their academic and social life.

Pay: Starting at Grade 15 point 4

Hours: 23.5 hours

Mon- Friday- The start time will remain the same but we are flexible with the finish time for two afternoons when the pupil is receiving in house support.

Contract Type: Fixed term contract until the end of July 2025, starting as soon as possible.
