What will I be doing?
We are seeking an Administrator to provide effective, efficient and well-organised administrative support across Young Somerset. This role is central to the smooth running of our services and internal systems, ensuring staff teams are supported and information is managed accurately and professionally.
The Administrator will work closely with colleagues across the organisation, handling a broad range of administrative tasks that support service delivery, compliance and day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to teams across Young Somerset
- Manage incoming emails, telephone calls and general enquiries, responding appropriately or signposting as required
- Prepare, format and maintain documents, letters, spreadsheets and reports
- Organise meetings, including scheduling, room bookings, agendas and minute taking
Records, Data and Systems
- Maintain accurate filing systems
- Input, update and monitor data on internal systems and databases
- Support the collection, collation and reporting of service and performance data
- Ensure records are kept in line with data protection and confidentiality requirements
Operational and Compliance Support
- Support HR and organisational processes, such as onboarding paperwork, training records and compliance documentation
- Assist with safeguarding, health and safety and other compliance-related administration
- Support internal audits, inspections and reporting requirements where needed
Team and Organisational Support
- Act as a key point of contact for staff, partners and external stakeholders
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the effective running of services
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and systems
