- 40 weeks per year (Term time plus 2 weeks)
- Grade 11 NJC points 20-25 FTE £31,586 – £35,235 (pay award pending)

What will I be doing?
The Castle School is looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Assistant SENDCO to support the SENDCO in raising standards of student attainment and achievement within the school, particularly in relation to the SEND provision.
This is an interesting and varied role, working with staff and students on a daily basis, so excellent communication skills are required. The successful candidate will be patient, approachable and reliable with resilience and commitment to their workload and responsibilities.
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
We require someone who has proven knowledge and experience of Microsoft packages including Word and Excel. You should have a friendly and helpful manner, be well-organised with strong attention to detail, and ideally have experience of working in a school environment.
