- Salary is 13.05 per hour (pro-rata) for 20 hours/week and 30 weeks per year.
- Flexible approach to the working week as we are open 7 days a week and bank holidays.
What will I be doing?
We’re working to improve the lives of people in Somerset – and you’ll be a key part of that. Your day-to-day work will involve:
- Taking money or card payment for parking on our beaches.
- Clear and effective communication with the public and colleagues to deliver safety messages and ensure smooth operations.
the ramp onto the beach(s) is in good repair and ready for the days vehicles and ensuring the safe parking of cars etc and enforcing parking restrictions on the - Berrow/Brean Beach.
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
We offer ongoing support, training and guidance to help you be the best you can be. But it will really help if you:
- Have good communication skills.
- Have the ability to handle cash and card transactions accurately.
- Have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
