What will I be doing?

The Castle School are seeking an enthusiastic, organised, and forward-thinking Careers Lead to join our secondary school team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to develop and lead a high-quality careers education programme that inspires students and prepares them for successful futures.

The successful candidate will play a key role in helping students make informed decisions about their education, training, and career pathways. Working closely with senior leaders, teaching staff, employers, colleges, universities, and external agencies, you will ensure that all students receive outstanding careers guidance and meaningful encounters with the world of work. Level 6 Diploma in Careers Leadership will be provided if the successful candidate is not already qualified.

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

We require someone who is good at planning, has proven knowledge and experience of data analysis and the production of accurate data. Knowledge of Excel is essential. In addition, you should be proactive in responding to tasks, have an excellent eye for detail, good communication and organisational skills, and ideally have experience of working in a busy office or school environment.
