What will I be doing?

We are seeking two enthusiastic and confident individuals to work with our English and Maths Departments to contribute to building on our success as a department by supporting young people to reach their potential in their English and Maths GCSE exams.

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

You will be passionate about students’ learning and will work under the instruction and guidance of the Heads of Department and Intervention Leads to deliver a variety of intervention strategies with a focus on raising achievement in KS4 Maths and English. You will also have the interpersonal skills required to work independently with students on a 1:1 or small group basis. In addition, preparation of resources and planning will be required.

Candidates will have excellent results at GCSE English or Maths taken at a Higher Tier and ideally an A Level in English or Maths or other mathematical/English-related subject.

These roles would be ideally suited to a graduate looking to gain valuable experience in a successful secondary school. However, applications are welcome from candidates who can demonstrate they have the necessary skills and experience to fulfil this role.
