The Nest Pre-school is part of Keinton Mandeville Primary School and provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for our young children. We are committed to fostering a love of learning and ensuring each child feels valued and supported.
We are open Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 3:00pm.
What will I be doing?
Are you passionate about early childhood development? Do you love helping young children learn, grow, and explore the world around them? We’re looking for a warm, enthusiastic and reliable person to join our team on a casual basis to cover current members in case of training, illness, etc. You will be supported by our fantastic team in our new setting to inspire, nurture and engage our youngest children.
Responsibilities:
- Support in planning and implementing educational activities
- Support children in their daily routines and learning experiences
- Help maintain a safe and clean environment
- Observe and record children’s progress
- Communicate effectively with children, parents and staff
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications (Level 2 or above in Early Years or equivalent, in childhood studies)
- A genuine interest in working with young children
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A team player with a can-do attitude
- Recent experience of working in an Early Years setting
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Patience, creativity and a sense of humour
