What will I be doing?
To support the Catering Manager with the preparation and service of meals at Lyngford Park Primary School, ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, cleanliness and pupil welfare.
- Prepare food in accordance with agreed menus and ingredients as directed by the Catering Manager.
- Serve pupils, ensuring agreed portion controls are followed.
- Maintain a clean and tidy kitchen and service area, including washing up and waste removal.
- Follow all health and safety, food hygiene and company procedures.
- Complete required records relating to allergens, temperatures, food preparation, transportation, cleaning and wastage.
- Support the Catering Manager in maintaining appropriate stock levels and monitoring supplier quality.
- Raise and assist with resolving any pupil, parent or carer issues, suggestions or complaints.
- Take responsibility for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils.
- Participate in professional development and the Company’s Appraisal Scheme.
- Work flexibly at other schools within Richard Huish Trust, including Richard Huish College, when required.
