Growing Future Leaders. Championing Inclusion. Inspiring Every Child
About Langford Budville Primary School and the Moorland Federation
Langford Budville Primary School is a small, nurturing village school where inclusion is not just an aspiration but a lived reality. We are proud of our ability to successfully support pupils with a wide range of needs within a mainstream environment, ensuring they learn, belong and thrive alongside their peers.
At Langford Budville, learning extends far beyond the classroom. Our extensive outdoor curriculum, “Loving Langford,” is rooted in our local environment and community, providing rich, real-life learning experiences that foster curiosity, resilience and a strong sense of belonging. This is complemented by our embedded Thrive approach, supporting pupils’ social and emotional development alongside their academic progress. Together, these approaches enable us to nurture the whole child and ensure all learners, particularly those with additional needs, can engage, succeed and flourish.
We celebrate each child’s individuality, their creativity, curiosity and character and are committed to helping them flourish both academically and personally. “Roots to Grow and Wings to Fly”
Our Federation celebrates individuality and a strong sense of community, nurturing children to grow together, and learn for life, as confident, compassionate citizens. We value teamwork, care deeply about wellbeing, and are dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children in our care.

- Excellent classroom management and the ability to create a positive, purposeful learning environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
- A reflective approach to teaching and a genuine enthusiasm for ongoing professional development
- An appreciation of the opportunities and rewards of working in a small, community-focused school
What is in it for me?
- A welcoming, inclusive and highly supportive school community, including Governors who care about your success
- The opportunity to work within a school recognised for strong inclusive and adaptive teaching practice
- Leadership development opportunities tailored to your career aspirations
- Access to NPQ qualifications, coaching and wider professional development pathways
- Opportunities to contribute to wider Federation projects, collaboration and school improvement work
- A leadership team that values innovation, wellbeing and professional growth
- The opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a small school where relationships and community matter
- A strong Federation-wide culture of collaboration, care and shared expertise
At Langford Budville Primary School and within the Moorland Federation, you will find a welcoming and supportive environment where your contribution is celebrated and your wellbeing is prioritised. We are committed to helping every member of staff flourish both personally and professionally.
