Key information
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our fantastic staff team, supporting pupils across the school on a fixed term basis until August 2026.
What will I be doing?
As a Teaching Assistant at Bishop’s Hull, you will work closely with teachers to support the learning, development, and wellbeing of children in a range of year groups. Your role will include helping to plan and deliver learning activities, preparing resources, and providing support to individuals and small groups. You’ll also play an important part in supporting pupils pastorally and sharing feedback with teaching staff to help meet every child’s needs.
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
- Minimum of 3 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, including English and Maths
- Experience supporting learning in a classroom environment
- A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A kind, flexible, and proactive approach to supporting children’s learning and wellbeing
