What will I be doing?
Are you an experienced and visionary leader with a passion for data-driven school improvement?
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic Deputy Headteacher to join our senior leadership team, with a key focus on curriculum and assessment. A key element of this role will be drawing upon student data to enhance teaching, learning and overall school performance.
As Deputy Headteacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our school’s future by leading on student assessment, tracking progress and ensuring data is used effectively to drive achievement. Working closely with the Headteacher and leadership team, you will support strategic decision-making, promote high standards of teaching and implement robust data systems that support both students and staff in achieving excellence.
Sexey’s School is a Church of England School and applicants should be committed to supporting the development of the school’s Christian distinctiveness and its Christian vision for education. The school also has state Boarding provision which was rated ‘Good’ in all areas in its most recent inspection.
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) with significant leadership experience
- The ability build excellent professional relationships and high performing teams
- A strong track record of using data to inform school improvement and student progress
- Expertise in curriculum design, assessment, data analysis tools and school performance strategies
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire staff and students alike
