What will I be doing?
We are a thriving nursery within the beautiful, rural town of Wiveliscombe, near Taunton. The Paddocks Nursery is proud to be part of Wiveliscombe Primary School. We require a Nursery Deputy Manager who is passionate about childcare, can inspire and support a team, whilst having the autonomy to lead and work with the primary school to ensure consistency and to share best practice.
The Paddocks Nursery is an established provider of childcare with a ‘Good’ Ofsted judgement in 2024. We provide a calm, purposeful and innovative environment; which includes beautiful grounds and a modern spacious building.
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
We are looking for someone who shares our enthusiasm for providing high quality childcare. You must have excellent knowledge of the EYFS and experience as a key worker. It would be desirable to have experience as a Supervisor/Room Lead along with the skills to manage a team effectively.
DBS check
The successful applicant will therefore be subject to an Enhanced DBS check, references and other pre-employment checks.
