What will I be doing?

Queen’s College is seeking an experienced, proactive Designated Safeguarding Lead to take strategic responsibility for safeguarding and child protection across the school.
- Lead safeguarding practice, early help, referrals and multi‑agency work
- Support staff with expert guidance, training and case advice
- Oversee online safety, covering the 4 Cs (Content, Contact, Conduct, Commerce), plus misinformation, disinformation and digital risk
- Monitor attendance as a key safeguarding indicator
- Ensure CPOMS is used effectively, with accurate, confidential records
- Shape policy, deliver training, and promote a strong, child‑centred safeguarding culture
- Build trusted relationships with pupils, families, staff and external partners
- Support safe digital practice, including the use of AI across the College
