We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our dedicated team to support the Design Technology provision to deliver exceptional lessons.

What will I be doing?

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing practical and administrative support for the teaching of DT and duties will include assisting with the preparation of materials and equipment for use in DT lessons and the routine maintenance of resources and equipment.

This is a busy role and will require the postholder to have strong practical skills, be conscious of health and safety and the ability to work flexibly with a positive “can-do” attitude and cope with competing demands. You should also have a commitment and interest in the wellbeing, support and achievement of students with the ability to establish positive relationships with students and staff.

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

Ideal candidates will have workshop experience and health and safety training in the use of all machinery. Previous experience in the use of electronics is desirable. Candidates with minibus driver training or an impetus to undertake minibus driver training would be an advantage.
