Start date – 1 November, or sooner if available.
What will I be doing?
We are looking to recruit an Early Years Practitioner for 19.5 hours per week, across 3 days (term time only). In this rewarding role you will be part of a team that supports the development and learning of children aged 2-4 years, creating a warm and stimulating environment where they flourish. The successful candidate will be given a comprehensive induction and be supported to thrive in an environment which promotes each staff member to be the best version of themselves.
To apply for this role, you must hold at least a Level 3 Childcare qualification or be willing to work towards the qualification.
Key skills and duties:
Most importantly, to have energy, enthusiasm, empathy, a sense of adventure and fun!
- Help with the planning and delivery of creative and fun opportunities according to children’s needs and interests to fulfil the requirements of the EYFS.
- Develop good strong relationships and communication with children and parents/carers.
- Work creatively with children so they develop, learn and grow.
- Ensure all children have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop.
- Experience of working with children in an early learning environment
- Good communication skills
- Be a team player
