Term Time Only + INSET Days

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 3:15pm, 30 hours a week

Salary: £12.85/hour (pay award pending)

Start date: as soon as possible

You will play a key role in supporting children’s learning and development through engaging, high-quality play experiences. You will help create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive. This school year, the role is split between Nursery nurse for the mornings and TA for the afternoons. This will be reviewed for September 2027.

• Build positive, professional relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Deliver high-quality play based interactions that support learning and development
• Promote and develop children’s oracy and communication skills
• Contribute to a warm, inclusive and purposeful learning environment
• Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working in an early years setting.
• Holds at least Level 2 Early Years Practitioner qualification (or equivalent)
• Is nurturing, enthusiastic and committed to supporting young children
• Has strong communication and teamwork skills
• Understands the importance of play and language in early learning
• Is dedicated to maintaining high standards of care and education
• Is Paediatric first aid trained (however this can be provided)
