Are you passionate about early childhood development and making a real difference in young children’s lives? We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner / Nursery Nurse to join our expanding nursery team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a friendly, supportive and forward-thinking team committed to providing high-quality early years education.
What will I be doing?
You will play a key role in supporting children’s learning and development through engaging, high-quality play experiences. You will help create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Build positive, professional relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Deliver high-quality play based interactions that support learning and development
- Promote and develop children’s oracy and communication skills
- Contribute to a warm, inclusive and purposeful learning environment
- Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience working in an early years setting.
- Holds at least Level 2 Early Years Practitioner qualification (or equivalent)
- Is nurturing, enthusiastic and committed to supporting young children
- Has strong communication and teamwork skills
- Understands the importance of play and language in early learning
- Is dedicated to maintaining high standards of care and education
- Is Paediatric first aid trained (however this can be provided)
DBS check
Safeguarding children is of paramount importance to us. All appointments are subject to satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS check.
