There is also the opportunity of more hours in our after-school club and/or breakfast club.

What will I be doing?

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated preschool practitioner who can assist in the daily running of our small, well respected, nurturing preschool. We have a high quality provision with a creative, child led environment thus enabling each individual to feel safe in exploring and extending their own learning.

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

You will need to have a relevant Level 3 qualification or above, with experience in the development of children’s learning. It’s important that you understand and follow the guidelines and Ofsted requirements of the EYFS.

You must have an enthusiasm and passion for developing children’s learning, to be able to work well as part of our dedicated team, have excellent people and communication skills, with the ability to multi-task, be flexible and have a great sense of humour.

  • Hold a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent
  • Be an enthusiastic and energetic Early Years practitioner who is committed to providing outstanding education and care for the children
  • Be able to work with children from 2-4 years old
  • Be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of the EYFS guidance and expectations. keeping all children at the heart of your practice.
  • Provide a happy positive learning experience and be able to work closely with parents
  • Be able to support children with high needs to integrate within the classroom.
  • Be an excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills.
  • Be an excellent team player, who is also flexible, organised and self-motivated
