At Inaura School, we pride ourselves on being a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and complex SEND. With four Learning Centres set in the beautiful Somerset Levels, we provide highly personalised 1:1 and small group teaching for students aged 8–18.

We are seeking an innovative and inspirational English Teacher to work with our older students (Years 8–12) across our Burrowbridge and Street Learning Centres.

What will I be doing?

• Bring creativity and energy to lessons, making learning engaging for students with SEMH needs.
• Build positive, nurturing relationships with students, providing tailored 1:1 teaching.
• Deliver an inspiring English curriculum that fosters both academic and personal growth.
• Promote wellbeing while safeguarding and supporting students.
• Work flexibly between Learning Centres and adapt to the needs of a unique teaching environment.

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

• A degree in English or a related subject and a professional teaching qualification with QTS.
• A passion for SEND and a commitment to making a real difference in the lives of students.
• Your own car to travel between Learning Centres (work mileage allowance provided).
