What will I be doing?

We’re looking for a motivated and capable individual to support the Town Council as it continues to evolve and expand its service provision. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality services and enhancing our towns.

Reporting directly to the Town Clerk, this pivotal position requires a proactive individual who thrives in a busy environment. You will lead a small dedicated team in the management, maintenance and enhancement of various assets including buildings and green spaces, ensuring their alignment with the town’s long-term strategic goals and their capacity to meet community needs. The role also involves working with a committed group of volunteers and ensuring they are well-supported.

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

The post requires an experienced leader to ensure efficient and effective best practice working standards are maintained, whilst providing value-for-money. The successful candidate will be able to deliver high quality administrative support as well as project management of on-site contracts.
