- We are a flexible hybrid employer with a combination of office based and working from home.
- 25 days annual leave.
- This is an assistant post reporting to a team leader allowing for career progression if the opportunity arises.
- The position is offered on a permanent basis for 37 hours per week.
What will I be doing?
We’re working to improve the lives of our Customers and the general public here in Somerset – and you’ll be a key part of that. Your day-to-day work will involve:
- Processing financial transactions in accordance with agreed practice and authorisation processes.
- Acting as a local point of contact for administrative and/or finance related queries, providing advice & guidance to operational and other staff, suppliers and customers.
- Contributing to, proposing and implementing solutions to many and varied problems relating to financial systems, procedures and reporting.
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
We offer ongoing support, training and guidance to help you be the best you can be. But it will really help if you have:
- Experience of using finance systems and Microsoft office applications
- At least a minimum of 5 GCSEs (including Maths and English)
- A positive, committed, thorough and confident approach.
