Salary: Grade 15 Point 3-4, £12.85 – £13.05 per hour depending on experience
Contract: Part time, term time only (38 working weeks), Monday – Friday 8:00 – 8:45am in the first instance with further hours likely to be offered to support our After School provision 3:15 – 4:30pm plus overtime, as required, possibly to 5:30pm.
Term: casual with the option to become permanent as the provision expands
We are looking for an outstanding practitioner to support the success of our revised Extended Services provision. The successful candidate will assist in creating high-quality and varied activities within a safe and caring environment. They will provide a high standard of care for children, including those with special educational needs. They will assist in the delivery of activities. They will need to be highly motivated, resilient and have a sense of fun. They will enjoy both supporting and celebrating the achievement of pupils.

- Has a positive attitude which they bring to every aspect of their work
- Someone with a ‘can do’ attitude, with high expectations for themselves and others
- Someone who is resilient and looks for positive solutions
- Is self-motivated
- Has experience of working with children in the primary age range (4-11 years old) would be desirable
- Has strong interpersonal skills and is able to work as part of a team
- Is organised and reliable
- Understands the principles of child protection and safeguarding
