Salary:

  • £11.44 – £12.87 gross per hour (£21,050 to £26,770 FTE) per annum) range is dependent upon qualifications and experience of working with children
  • 46 (term time) or 52-week contract (£21,050 to £26,780 FTE)
  • Part time salary is pro rata of above figures
  • 46-week (term time) contract – provides you with 11+ non-working weeks per year as you will be off during the majority of our School Holidays – around the 48-hour commitment*

Hours:

  • Part time, minimum 2 or 3 days per week, 8.00am – 4.00pm or 8.30am – 4.30pm
  • Full time, 40 hours per week, 8.00am – 4.00pm or 8.30am – 4.30pm
  • 48 hours (pro rata) is paid training outside of term time hours, the majority of these hours is working from home.

Start date: Can be discussed (pending clearance from the DBS via the completion of an Enhanced DBS Check, as well as at least two satisfactory signed references)

What will I be doing?

Due to expansion, we require outgoing confident people with a love of the outdoors, farming and animal (ideally domestic and farm) handling experience to support our children with their education and social development in our specialised Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ SEN environment which includes a farm and forest school. Some experience of working with children would be advantageous.

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

A full time 46 or 52-week position is available for someone with strong farming and animal care skills and experience to work in the school holidays
