At Beech Grove Primary School, our admin team is the beating heart of our school community. We are looking for an exceptional Finance & Admin Assistant to join our close-knit team. This is a permanent, full-time position offering the perfect work-life balance, with exact hours to be agreed upon with the right candidate.

Reporting directly to the School Business Manager, you will keep our school running like clockwork by:

  • Maintaining precise records of income and expenditure
  • Managing invoices, ordering goods, and supporting financial decision-making
  • Providing comprehensive, confidential administrative and diary support
  • Acting as a welcoming face and voice of our school during reception duties

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

You are resilient, efficient, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You bring a positive, proactive attitude and a great eye for detail.

Our Ideal Candidate Has:

  • Proficient computer skills, specifically in Excel and Word
  • Strong GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade A-C/9-4 or equivalent)
  • Outstanding communication skills and the ability to build great relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
  • School office experience (this is preferable, but not essential—we value the right attitude and transferable skills!)
