What will I be doing?
Youth Connect South West (YCSW) is seeking a Finance Trustee (also known as Treasurer) to join our Board of Trustees at an exciting and important time for the organisation.
The Finance Trustee provides strategic oversight and assurance on financial governance, sustainability and risk. This is a non executive, voluntary role focused on governance rather than day to day financial management.
We currently have a Finance Trustee in post and are planning a supported handover period for the new Finance Trustee to ensure continuity, confidence and a smooth transition for the organisation and Board.
Working alongside the Chair, Chief Executive Officer, Head of Finance, and fellow trustees, the Finance Trustee plays a key role in ensuring YCSW remains financially resilient and able to deliver high quality services with and alongside children and young people.
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
This role would suit someone with experience of senior financial oversight, strategic finance or financial governance, who is motivated to use their skills to support a values led youth
DBS check
An Enhanced DBS check is required
