What will I be doing?
Bampton C of E Primary School is a welcoming and nurturing Charter Town school set in the heart of our community. Rooted in our Christian vision and values, we are committed to providing a high-quality, inclusive education where every child flourishes academically, socially and emotionally.
We are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and motivated Foundation Stage Worker who holds a full and relevant Level 2 Early Years qualification to join our Early Years team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with our youngest learners at a crucial stage in their development.
The successful candidate will support teaching and learning within our Early Years Foundation Stage, helping to create a safe, stimulating and engaging environment where children can learn through play and exploration. You will work closely with the class teacher to deliver planned activities, contribute to observations and assessment, and support children’s communication, language and early development. A key part of the role will be promoting positive behaviour, wellbeing and independence, while helping to prepare and maintain an organised and inviting learning environment.
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
We are looking for someone who has experience of working with children in an EYFS setting and demonstrates a secure understanding of the EYFS framework. You will be warm, patient and nurturing, with strong communication and teamwork skills, and a genuine passion for supporting young children to thrive. A commitment to inclusion, high expectations and safeguarding is essential.
What is in it for me?
In return, we offer a supportive and dedicated staff team, enthusiastic and curious children, a strong sense of community, and opportunities for continued professional development.
