- Permanent contract.
- £24,404 – £25,183 per annum.
- 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Five positions available based in our Yeovil Depot and our Wellington Depot (although working elsewhere within the County may be required).
- 25 days annual leave excl. Bank Holidays.
- Will involve being part of the wider Grounds Operations Team.
What will I be doing?
We’re working to improve the lives of people in Somerset – and you’ll be a key part of that. Your day-to-day work will involve:
Undertaking of all grounds/horticultural operations.
Use of hand tools, powered hand tools and ride on machinery to achieve the above.
Driving a company vehicle up to 3.5t and trailer.
Compete paperwork / online forms as required.
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
We offer ongoing support, training and guidance to help you be the best you can be. But it will really help if you:
Hold a full driving licence.
Have grounds or horticultural experience.
Experience of using appropriate equipment e.g. mowers and powered hand tools such as hedging tools and blowers.
Able to work as part of a team.
Experience working outdoors.
