West Monkton C of E Primary School – Part of The Oak Partnership Trust are seeking a Headteacher for a September 2026 start

What will I be doing?

We are looking for an inspirational, values-led and forward-thinking leader to take a successful school into its next stage of development – ‘A place for growing together and learning to fly’

Working closely with a dedicated team of talented practitioners within the school and across the Trust, the successful candidate will be supported to implement their vision on this thriving two-form entry primary school, which is positioned at the heart of the West Monkton community.

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

We are looking for someone who has:

• The ability, experience and confidence to lead a busy and large primary school and nursery;
• A clear vision for educational excellence and a demonstrable track record of inspiring and achieving high outcomes for all;
• The skills and commitment to build strong relationships with families, colleagues and the wider community;
• The desire to thrive in their own school but also relish the opportunity to formally collaborate with other leaders in local schools;

The vacancy is a permanent, full time position on the Leadership Pay range 11-17 dependent on experience.

Interviews: 21st / 22nd May 2026

On Thursday 7th and Friday 8th May there is the opportunity to book in for a tour of the school. This is by appointment only, via the West Monkton School office.
