What will I be doing?

We require a highly dedicated and responsible individual to play a crucial role as Inclusion Support Assistant in supporting the school to promote positive behaviours and make a constructive difference to the lives and life-chances of our students by raising standards and help achieve the aims of the school.

The successful candidate will work under the direction of the Assistant Head –Safeguarding and with the Senior Leadership Team, SENDCo and Pastoral Team to play a key role in the running of the School’s Reflection Room to effectively supervise students who have been internally excluded in line with the school’s behaviour policy and to co-ordinate the integration process. The postholder will also deliver 1:1 or small group interventions focused on behaviour, emotional regulation, and decision-making skills.

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

Candidates will be pro-active with the ability to use own initiative and make decisions within the scope of their role, possess effective communication skills to build relationships with students, families and external agencies, and be resilient to sensitive, challenging situations and behaviour.
