Who are we?

St Mary and St Peter’s Church School, Ilton and Shepton Beauchamp Church School work in partnership within our BWMAT Trust. We are currently developing expanding this partnership with two further small local schools. Our ethos is that we are two schools but one staff. We believe we offer a uniquely caring, close-knit team that supports each other all day, every day and this is reflected by how our children interact with each other.

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

We are seeking a professional who has experience across KS2. A professional totally committed to teamwork, ensuring every child and adult can be the best version of themselves.

As a small school, we often rely on creativity and flexibility of our staff to solve challenges… genuinely, no two days are the same!

If you are seeking a new post that allows you to know your children and families very closely, allowing you to have a substantial impact on a community, we want to hear from you.

If you think you could join us on our journey and genuinely contribute to transforming Teaching and Learning for our community, please do come and visit us for a school tour and exploration of our ambitions with Caroline Middleton, our Head of School. To arrange a visit please contact Caroline via caroline.middleton@threesaints.bwmat.org

What is in it for me?

Our School is a unique small school with a superb staff who support each other in everything. This year OFSTED recognised our school as “Good” in all areas and we are so proud that they said “Adults have high expectations of all pupils and the pupils live up to these. They demonstrate the school’s values of ‘courage, kindness and respect.’ As a result, there is a happy, calm and purposeful learning environment.”

All of our curriculum is carefully planned and sequenced for our KS2 Class and you will be joining a fun and established teaching team.

We have developed an exciting curriculum offer for our children. Our curriculum is well resourced and we have a number of online planning and assessment tools to support workload. We have invested in these resources to enable our teachers to concentrate on being the best versions of themselves in the classroom.
(Please do have a look at our curriculum outline on our website)

Our school finances are well managed and we have been able to invest in two members of support staff for our KS2 Class to support learning.

We are fortunate to have the ongoing support and backing of the Bath and Wells MAT to assist us in making our high aspirations a reality and we have access to excellent CPD opportunities for staff.

DBS check
