Key information
Strode College is looking for a colleague who can support our students as they develop employability skills, achieve their learning ambitions, and gain the personal and social skills they need to prepare for the next stage in their lives.
You’ll be working with students with learning difficulties or disabilities from Entry Level to Advanced Level to provide in-class support with a focus on learning with individual and/or groups of students, general support across the campus and in the workplace as required. Experience of working with sensory impairment, physical disability, mental health, challenging behaviour, ASD or SpLD is desirable.
You must have a good knowledge of learning difficulties and disabilities whilst having excellent inter-personal and communication skills.

Contractual Details
Rate of Pay or Salary: £23,086 per annum pro rata (actual salary £12,267 per annum)
Working Time: 24 hours per week for 36 weeks term time
Contract Type: Permanent
