Make a difference. Inspire Confidence. Help young people thrive!
Are you passionate about helping young people overcome barriers and achieve their potential? Do you have the patience, creativity and commitment to make a genuine difference to a student’s day – and ultimately their future?
What will I be doing?
We are looking for an enthusiastic and caring Learning Support Assistant to join our supportive SEND team. You will work alongside teachers and colleagues to help students with additional needs disabilities and/or learning difficulties, access learning, build confidence, develop independence and feel included in school and community life.
Every day will bring an opportunity to encourage a young person, celebrate their progress and help them discover what they can achieve. From providing one-to-one and small-group support to delivering targeted literacy interventions, you will play a vital role in helping our students overcome barriers to learning.
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
We are looking for someone who is patient, positive, flexible and creative, with the ability to build strong relationships and motivate young people. Experience of working with children or young people is desirable, but above all we want someone who genuinely cares about making a difference. A passion for helping our young people and the ability to build connections and relationships are key in this role, as well as a good sense of humour!
If you are looking for a rewarding role where what you do really matters, we would love to hear from you!
What is in it for me?
We can offer you a supportive, inclusive and collaborative School and Trust community with great colleagues, opportunities for professional growth and development, a fantastic pension scheme, free on-site gym, access to Health & Wellbeing Scheme, cycle to work scheme/retail discounts via Blue Light Card, opportunities to travel abroad and within the UK to support school trips, as well as involvement in a vast number of extra-curricular clubs.
