Fixed Term from 1 Sept 2025 to 31 Aug 2026 (potential for extension). 32 Hours a week, 6 hours a day, 8:45am-12:30 and 1:00-3:15, Mon-Fri (with some flexibility).

Bowlish Infant School is a small school with 115 children from Reception to Year 2 who are catered for across 4 classes.

What will I be doing?

Required from 1st September 2025, we are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work one-to-one with 2-3 children (rotating throughout the day).

The successful candidate will be:

Essential

  • an inspiring practitioner with high standards and expectations (incl. of themselves).
  • confident with effective, calm, consistent behaviour management strategies.
  • proactive, solution focused and positive in their communication.
  • resilient and able to greet the day-to-day challenges of working with children with enthusiasm.
  • dedicated to creating enabling environments where children can thrive.

Desirable

  • Experience of working with neurodiverse children.
  • Experience of working with children who have experienced Adverse Childhood Experiences.
