What will I be doing?
What You’ll Do.
Deliver 1:1 personalised learning to students. Safeguard students’ welfare. Display the skills to work appropriately and effectively with individual students. Be able to promote students’ social and emotional development. Respond calmly and effectively to displayed behaviours. Show the confidence to work independently and part of a team. Communicate openly and effectively. Use own car for work to transport students to offsite activities ( Business insurance required. Mileage payment made ) Working location across four sites near Wedmore, Street, Westhay Moor National Reserve and Burrowbridge near Bridgwater and Taunton.
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
Desirable Credentials
Experience of working with young people with special educational needs and disability. Good working knowledge of Safeguarding and Health and Safety. Experience or Knowledge of National Curriculum subjects A Teaching Assistant qualification or willingness to gain one (training available)Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
