What will I be doing?
Foundation Learning is the 23/24 winner of the RCU Beacon Award for Support for Students and an outstanding area of the college that provides a number of highly successful study programmes for learners with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND), barriers to learning and Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties (SEMH). The post-holder will be motivated, enthusiastic and a strong team player who strives to deliver the best possible outcomes for our learners. They will deliver highly effective Teaching, Learning and Assessment of English and Math to the Department learners, along with additional teaching within the Department. This role includes the delivery of GCSE and Functional Skills English and maths within the Department, working alongside the cross-college English and maths Department to support progression, tracking milestones and standardisation in line with Awarding Organisation requirements and College quality processes.
