- This role is suitable for hybrid working and will involve a combination of working from one of our offices and working remotely.

What will I be doing?
We’re working to improve the lives of people in Somerset – and you’ll be a key part of that. Your day-to-day work will involve:
Managing and developing your team. You will ensure day to day services are delivered, individual and team performances are met whilst continually looking to improve services.
Providing a modern and customer centred lettings service that will enable us to drive service improvements and deliver solutions to reduce rent loss and void lettings times.
Working in partnership and ensuring full oversight of contractor and our repairs teams’ performance, playing a key role in meetings to ensure the delivery and development of a consistent and efficient void repairs service.
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
We offer ongoing support, training and guidance to help you be the best you can be. But it will really help if you:
- Have management experience gained within the social housing sector.
- Have a working knowledge of housing law, performance standards and performance indicators.
- Have experience in delivering a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Have the ability to inspire, motivate and develop employees and teams along with experience in setting and communicating clear objectives to ensure team goals are achieved.
- Are a practical and logical thinker, who can overcome problems/issues to meet deadlines.
