  • Total Hours per week – 12 hours 20 minutes
    • Tuesday Preschool 8.40-3.20pm (30-minute unpaid break)
    • Wednesday Preschool 8.40-3.20pm (30-minute unpaid break)

Afterschool Club Supervisor

  • Grade 16 point 2 £12.26 per hour
  • Total Hours per week – 2 hours (with additional time paid between 4.20pm-5.15pm as required.)
    • Tuesday Afterschool Club 3.20-4.20pm
    • Wednesday  Afterschool Club 3.20-4.20pm

Contract Type: Temporary subject to funding

What will I be doing?

Curry Mallet Primary school is looking to appoint an outstanding practitioner who is compassionate, dynamic, and resourceful to join our dedicated and hardworking team of skillful support staff. The successful candidate will join our Preschool as a Level 2 Preschool Assistant to support a child with medical needs, full training will be provided. They will also be required to run our small Afterschool Club. Our setting is dedicated to providing the best possible care and early years education. We are committed to offering professional development opportunities.

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

We are looking for:

  • A dedicated, hardworking EYFS practitioner who is able to raise and sustain high standards
  • Someone who has excellent interpersonal skills in working with children, staff and parents
  • An EYFS practitioner who is able to enthuse and inspire children
  • Someone who is able to work as part of a team sharing excellent practice and learning from others

A Level 2 childcare qualification is essential for the Preschool Assistant role.
