About the job

Key information

We’re excited to be recruiting an experienced Level 3 practitioner to join Little Meadows.

Are you passionate about early years education, reflective and confident in responding to children’s interests, and excited about shaping meaningful learning experiences?

We are looking for an experienced Level 3 qualified practitioner (or above) to join our nurturing, child-centred preschool for approximately 20 hours per week (term time only).

Fixed term until July (with potential to become permanent from September)

Start date: 22 April 2026 (or earlier by agreement)

What will I be doing?

At Little Meadows, we are building a setting rooted in strong relationships, thoughtful practice and high-quality care. We are intentionally small, valuing quality over scale, and creating an environment where children feel safe, valued and inspired to learn, and where staff feel respected, heard and encouraged to develop professionally.

As we continue to develop our curriculum and strengthen our leadership structure, we are looking for someone who wants to take ownership of curriculum development and help shape something meaningful and child-centred.

The role will involve:

  • Supporting and developing our curriculum
  • Leading high-quality, purposeful learning experiences
  • Contributing to assessment and next steps
  • Working collaboratively with the Manager and Deputy
  • Maintaining high standards of care and safeguarding

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

  • Holds a full and relevant Level 3 qualification (or above)
  • Has a strong understanding of the EYFS and curriculum development
  • Is confident leading engaging, purposeful learning experiences
  • Brings enthusiasm, energy and genuine excitement for early years
  • Is reflective, organised and able to take ownership of responsibility
