What will I be doing?

Parkfield Primary is a successful and welcoming primary school where children are at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic team player to join our school lunchtime team to start as soon as possible.

This is an important role in our school. You will be required to assist the children in the dining hall and during playtime with both indoor and outdoor activities, there is also an expectation that you will join in to encourage inclusive breaks. The duties also include setting up the dining hall, play equipment and clearing away at the end of the lunch period therefore the job does involve some lifting.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, highly motivated and has a passion for this role. You will need to demonstrate that you are flexible, calm, patient, caring and have the ability to fit in with a dedicated/ hardworking team to become a part of our friendly and supportive school community.

Subject to qualifications, there may be further opportunities to:

  • Join our dedicated and enthusiastic wrap-around care team. Swallows is normally open Monday to Friday 7:50 am – 8:50 am, and 3:30 pm – 6:00 pm, during term time.
  • Provide support to teachers helping the children to make the best use of the educational opportunities available to them.
