33.50 hours per week- Monday- Tuesday-Wednesday-Friday- 8.30am-3.30pm & Thursday 8.30am-4.30pm each week- term time plus 3 inset days

These positions are linked to EHCP funding and therefore if funding is removed the position will cease.

What will I be doing?

We are looking for TAs to work within our mainstream school supporting children with significant SEND with EHCPs particularly autism & speech and language difficulties. You will work as part of a team providing a mixture of small group support and 1:1 support including intimate care.

Holway Park School is an inclusive and nurturing school. You will work closely with the SENCO and teachers to provide tailored support for all pupils with additional needs and learning difficulties including sensory needs.

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

We would love to hear from people who have the patience, energy, and enthusiasm to support children with additional needs, experience of working with children with significant needs is desirable but not essential.

The successful candidate will:

  • Essential- Have a good standard of English and Maths at the equivalent to GCSE Grade 4/C
  • Be positive, approachable, flexible and work effectively in a team.
  • • Be patient and supportive of children with additional needs whilst also having high expectations for them.
