Haygrove School are seeking an enthusiastic and confident individual to work with our Maths Department to contribute to building on our success as a department by supporting young people to reach their potential in their Maths GCSE exams.
What will I be doing?
You will be passionate about students’ learning and will work under the instruction and guidance of the Head of Maths and Maths Intervention Lead to deliver a variety of intervention strategies with a focus on raising achievement in KS4 Maths. You will also have the interpersonal skills required to work independently with students on a 1:1 or small group basis. In addition, preparation of resources and planning will be required.
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
Candidates will have GCSE Maths taken at a Higher Tier and ideally an A Level in Maths or other mathematical-related subject.
This role would be ideally suited to a graduate looking to gain valuable experience in a successful secondary school. However, applications are welcome from candidates who can demonstrate they have the necessary skills and experience to fulfil this role.
