What will I be doing?
We are looking for a friendly, reliable and caring Mealtime Assistant to join our school team. This role involves supporting pupils during lunchtime, helping to create a calm, positive and safe environment both in the dining hall and in the playground. The successful candidate will encourage good table manners, ensure the wellbeing of all children in their care, and help promote an enjoyable lunchtime experience for everyone.
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
This position would suit someone who enjoys working with children, is able to use their initiative and can build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues. Experience working in a school setting is helpful but not essential, as full training will be provided.
The role is part-time during the school day and offers the rewarding opportunity to play an important role in the daily life of our school community. If you are enthusiastic, patient and committed to supporting children’s wellbeing, we would be delighted to hear from you.
Supporting documents and information
If you are committed, enthusiastic, and ready to contribute to our school community, we would love to hear from you. Visits to the school are warmly encouraged — we would love to show you what makes Webbers C of E Primary such a special place to work and learn. Please contact the school directly on 01823 672510 to arrange a visit.
This post has been advertised on multiple platforms and we reserve the right to interview upon receipt of suitable applications. Candidates are therefore advised to submit applications at the earliest opportunity.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
