Key information

Salary: Grade 1, Point 3: £4,966 per annum

Contract: Permanent, 8.75 hours per week (8 hours, 45 minutes), 38.4 weeks per year (term time plus 4 inset days)

*The salary quoted reflects the annual salary for the position at the time of advertising. Payment will be made in equal monthly instalments and will be adjusted at the start of employment, and again if employment ends partway through the school year, to ensure the correct salary is paid for work completed during the academic year.

What will I be doing?

We are looking for a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Midday Supervisor to join our dedicated team at Charlton Horethorne Primary School. This vital role involves supervising children during their lunchtime break, both in the dining hall and in the playground, ensuring a safe, happy, and inclusive environment for all.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising children during lunch and playtime
• Encouraging positive behaviour and good table manners
• Supporting children with any lunchtime needs
• Helping to set up and tidy away dining equipment
• Promoting safe and active play

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

We are looking for someone who:

• Enjoys working with children and has a nurturing approach
• Can work well as part of a team
• Is calm, patient, and dependable
• Understands the importance of safeguarding and child welfare
