- Between the hours of 7.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday, all year round.
We are a thriving nursery within the beautiful village of Curry Rivel with a new management team.
What will I be doing?
Deputy Nursery Manager day to day tasks include:
- Working alongside the Nursery Manager take responsibility for the safety and welfare of children between the ages of birth and 5 years
- Accountable to maintain and achieve quality and standards
- Support the Nursery Manager to ensure effective leadership and development across the nursery team
- Proactively advise and support parents
- Responsible for safeguarding including being DDSL
- Responsible for identifying and actively promoting staff development
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
Due to an internal promotion for the Manager role, we require a Deputy Nursery Manager who is passionate about childcare, who can support our new Nursery Manager to lead a growing team and work to ensure consistency and to share best practice.
We provide a calm, purposeful and innovative environment which includes beautiful forest school grounds and a modern spacious building. We are looking for someone who shares our enthusiasm for providing high quality childcare. You must have excellent knowledge of the EYFS as well as skills and experience of working with children aged 0-4 years old.
